Mr. Ivica Gavrilovic was born on 28th October 1976 in Arandjelovac.

He graduated from the Military Technical Academy in Belgrade, and acquired the title of Graduate Economist. At the Law Faculty in Belgrade, he acquired title Specialist for External State Audit in 2008. He also acquired certificates on titles of State Auditor Certified State Auditor issued by the State Audit Institution, and Certified Accountant issued by the Serbian Association of Accountants and Auditors.

He has more than 15 years of work experience, and in 2000 he started working for the first time in the Navy in Tivat, where he worked in the finance department. From 2005 until 2010, he worked in the Military Security Agency as a clerk in the financial department until 2009, and as a finance group manager after that. From 2007 until 2008, he worked on keeping business books of entrepreneurs.

He has worked in the capacity of State Auditor in the State Audit Institution since 2010. From 2011 until 2012, he worked as a State Auditor in the Sector for Auditing of the Budget and Budget Funds of the Republic of Serbia; from 2012 until 2013, as State Auditor in the Sector for Auditing of Mandatory Social Insurance Organizations, and as of 2013 he worked as a Certified State Auditor. He was appointed Supreme State Auditor in the Sector for Audit Methodology and Quality Control in 2016. Due to organizational changes, Council of the State Audit Institution decided that as of 2019 Mr. Ivica Gavrilovic continues to exercises his office as Supreme State Auditor in Sector 5.

He speaks English.

He is married, father of two children.
